Program Responsibilities

For both Mentors and Mentees:

For the Mentors:

Ideal mentors are experienced professionals with the desire to coach, support and develop another individual. Potential mentors will coach the mentee through a self-discovery process as well as enhance their coaching and listening skills. Employees in leadership roles, faculty members and principal investigators are strongly encouraged to serve as mentors.

For the Mentees:

Ideal mentees have clear objectives, have a willingness to receive feedback and want to focus on their professional growth. An individual who self-nominates will still be required to have the formal support of his or her supervisor in order to be considered for the program. The sponsor/supervisor must submit a letter of recommendation.
